Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic singer, composer and performer. He combines soul gospel jazz and R&B to make a distinctive combination. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway to the Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine's name is Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her professional career performing on the piano as well as singing in church. In Atlanta she was a student at Spellman College where her musical instruction began with the Atlanta's R&B Scene. Sunshine was noticed by the nation during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be invited to sing for President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
