Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with some appearances in Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu movie Mahanati. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actress in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then started accepting projects from Malayalam. While the film did not do well at the box-office Her debut film is A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in alongside Vikramprabhu. To fit in bigger projects, she had to cancel films that she'd started working on. They included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. As a result, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. While the date for release of Janakitho Nenu has not been announced, it is reported that it may be sometime in September of 2020. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016 starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
