Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best recognized for her role on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' qui te enamores. Model and dancer by profession, Toubia has also achieved great success in both of these fields. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed doing shows. She has been training in different dance styles since her early years. As a 15-year-old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous during 2008 as she appeared in the second season of the Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. She began acting in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist on a Telemundo episode. In 2015 she starred in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
